Liz Claiborne and Macy’s recently teamed up with the Family Violence Prevention Fund for a study about teen dating violence. One of the more interesting aspects of the study showed the link between our current economic recession and increase in teen dating violence. Also from the study:
…29 percent of teens reported having been the victim of sexual abuse, physical abuse or threats of physical abuse from a boyfriend or girlfriend, and 60 percent of teens said they know someone who was the victim of abuse.
